Holdren Letter

The central goal of Go Nuclear! is to promote a U.S. energy policy that includes three key ingredients:  1) the integral fast reactor, 2) light water reactors and 3) medical radioisotopes to improve human health by screening and treating diseases.  The plan is described in the cornerstone document on this website:  The Holdren Letter.  For Go Nuclear! readers, I propose the name for our project moving forward “ICE” - Integrated Contemporary Energy.  This name takes the focus off  Dr.

On February 1st, 2010, Dr. John Shanahan authored a letter to Dr. John P. Holdren, Director of the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy and President Obama's Science Advisor. This letter also included over 30 pages of signatories from scientists, engineers, and citizens from around the world, over 330 signatories total! This letter is the groundwork of GNI's promotion of nuclear power.
